CHARACTERISTICS-2

SOFT GRIT

Many years of research and development have led us to walnut shells as a comparatively soft, high grade BOTANICAL ABRASIVE.

AP GRIT

Made from apricot pits, AP GRIT is slightly harder than SOFT GRIT.
A special process developed by NIPPON WALNUT removes the fat from the apricot pits. This makes it suitable for such processing as deburring after the soldering of semiconductors.

PS GRIT

Peach pits have an even lower fat content than apricot pits and make the hardest BOTANICAL ABRASIVES. Effects similar to those obtained with mineral abasives can be realized.

CORN COBS GRIT

Corn cob makes the softest abrasive. It is used widely as a polishing agent in various barrel finishing processes.
Since corn cobs are also highly absorbent, they not only absorb water and oil but also absorb brighteners, such as wax, thereby heightening the effectiveness of polishing.
